Privacy Policy for Dawnhub Advertiser Tools

Dawnhub Advertiser Tools is a Chrome extension that adds tools for advertisers to the Dawnhub website. This policy explains what information the extension accesses, what it does with it, where it is kept, and who it is shared with. Where only one of the extension's tools uses something, the policy names that tool.

Summary

• The extension talks to one service: Dawnhub itself, using your existing Dawnhub session.
• Anything you paste into the extension, such as a screenshot or message, is processed entirely on your device and never uploaded.
• There is no Dawnhub Advertiser Tools server. The extension collects no analytics, shows no ads, and sells nothing.

Information the extension accesses

Dawnhub data

On Dawnhub pages, the extension reads the page and loads data from Dawnhub's API with your existing Dawnhub session. It only uses data your account can already see on Dawnhub, and only to provide its tools:

• The raids you are viewing: dates, raid names, difficulty, loot type, slots, which classes are booked, and status. Used to filter the raids list, link raids, and match a DM to a raid.
• A single raid's details, when you are on that raid's page.
• Bookings (name-realm, advertiser, class, pot, deposit, paid status and source), when you use Find a buyer, to show where a character is booked.

Content you paste into the extension

Fill booking from a DM reads a message from a buyer that you paste or drop in (such as a Discord or Battle.net DM or an in-game whisper), as a screenshot or as message text, to find the raid being discussed and the buyer's details. That can include whatever the conversation shows: names, display names, message text and timestamps.

• A screenshot is turned into text by an OCR engine (Tesseract) that ships inside the extension. Nothing is downloaded to do this, and the image is not sent anywhere.
• That text is then read by Chrome's built-in AI (the Prompt API, running Gemini Nano). The model runs on your device, and Chrome does not send the text anywhere to answer.
• What was read is compared against the raids on your Dawnhub page, also on your device.
• The pasted content is kept in memory only while the window is open, and is discarded when you close it. It is not saved to disk by the extension.
• To help you check a result, the extension writes the text it read and what it found to your browser's developer console for that page. That output stays in your browser and is cleared when the page is closed or reloaded.

What you enter into Dawnhub's forms

Where a tool fills something in for you, such as the raid, Name-Realm, Pot and curve boss for a booking, it fills it into Dawnhub's own form on your page and may click Dawnhub's own buttons, such as its character search. The extension never submits a form. Information is only sent to Dawnhub when you submit Dawnhub's form yourself.

How information is shared

Dawnhub

The extension sends read requests to Dawnhub to load the data described above. Beyond that, Dawnhub only receives what you submit through its own forms, and anything its own buttons send when the extension clicks them for you.

Google Chrome

Tools that use Chrome's built-in AI rely on a model Chrome downloads once, the first time it is needed. That download is handled by Chrome itself under Google's privacy policy. The model processes prompts on your device. The extension does not use any Google service over the network.

No one else

The extension does not send any information to its author, to this website, or to any other third party.

Storage and retention

In the extension's local storage, kept until you change it or uninstall the extension:

• Your settings, such as the "Show only raids with slots available" tick.

In the extension's session storage, which the browser keeps in memory only and clears when it closes:

• The booking fields you confirm (raid, Name-Realm, Pot and curve boss), for a moment when you choose Open & fill, so they can be filled in once the new tab's booking page loads. They are removed as soon as that tab has used them, or when it is closed.

In the Dawnhub tab's session storage, cleared when the tab is closed:

• The address of the raids list you last viewed (its dates, raid type and region), so Fill booking from a DM can offer those raids on a raid's own page.

The Dawnhub tab's session storage belongs to the Dawnhub website, which means Dawnhub's own pages can technically read it. You can remove everything the extension stores by uninstalling it.

Permissions

• Access to hub.dawn-boosting.com (and Dawn's devhub test site): to add the extension's tools to Dawnhub pages, read the data described above, and fill in Dawnhub's forms.
• Storage: to remember your settings.

This website

This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. As with any website, the host may receive standard connection information such as your IP address, browser user agent and the page requested. The site uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and the extension does not contact it unless you open one of its links. Chrome Web Store installs and updates are handled by Google.

Information is used only to provide the extension's features, is not sold or transferred to third parties, and is not used for advertising, creditworthiness or lending purposes.
